Don’t over complicate things up front. In fact…ever! You will have enough to do in getting your business off the ground. If you are trying to run before you can walk, it won’t work out well. Get a good accountant behind you. Get a mentor if you can who can talk you through the set up phase; they will have that experience and have learned the lessons that you can then avoid. Multiple shareholders? Get a good lawyer who can draw up an effective shareholders agreement. You get it…..surround yourself with specialists. They’ll be worth every penny
